⭐ Bukhara — The Sacred City of the East

The best-preserved ancient city in Uzbekistan. With 2,500 years of history, it was the centre of Islamic learning, serving as capital of the Samanid dynasty in the IX–X centuries. The old city remains almost unchanged and was inscribed on UNESCO in 1993. Lyabi-Hauz, the Ark Citadel, and the Kalon Minaret — a city frozen in time.
