The event was attended by representatives of the French tourism administration, entrepreneurs from both countries, media representatives, officials from the diplomatic corps of France, and 120 tourism professionals.
The goal was to elevate tourism relations between Uzbekistan and France to a new level, establish active connections between entrepreneurs, and increase the flow of tourists to Uzbekistan.
During the presentation "Uzbekistan – The Pearl of the Silk Road," guests were introduced to Uzbekistan's tourism prospects, efforts to develop its tourism infrastructure, and the ongoing reforms aimed at creating more comfortable conditions for tourists.
"Uzbekistan Airways" presented its logistics capabilities and existing flight routes. Additionally, the company's role in tourism development, new opportunities, and flight routes for providing high-quality services to tourists visiting Uzbekistan were discussed.
During the "B2B" meetings between business representatives from Uzbekistan and France, business connections were established, cooperation opportunities were discussed, and agreements were reached to increase tourist flow.
Furthermore, representatives of French travel companies were introduced to the recent tourism sector reforms in Uzbekistan, newly developed tourist destinations, and improved infrastructure.
Guests at the forum also had the opportunity to experience Uzbekistan's rich and diverse culture, traditional music, and dances, as well as taste exquisite Uzbek national dishes prepared by professional chefs.
The forum marked a significant step in strengthening tourism relations between Uzbekistan and France, opening new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
